Formula: gas units × manually entered gas price. Assumes an EVM native token with 18 decimals. Actual fees can differ; USD values use your entered price, with no independent verification or update time.

How the estimate works

Multiply gas units by the gas price in Gwei per unit. For an EIP-1559 transaction, enter an expected effective price, which depends on the base fee, priority fee and your maximum fee cap. One Gwei is one billion Wei, and one 18-decimal native token equals one quintillion Wei. The gas limit is a ceiling on units consumed; if you know the gas actually used, enter it to compare. The optional USD amount multiplies the fee by a price you supply.

Example: 21,000 gas at 20 Gwei equals 420,000,000,000,000 Wei, or 0.00042 native token. The values shown when the page first opens are examples, not current network measurements.

Networks and stablecoins

USDT and USDC can exist as different contracts on different networks. A token transfer pays fees in the destination network's native fee token, and token transfers may use more gas than a simple native transfer. Verify both the token contract and the receiving platform's supported network before transferring.

Gas pricing and token decimals vary across networks. This calculator is limited to EVM networks whose native fee token uses 18 decimals. It does not estimate bridge costs or quote a live exchange rate.

Frequently asked questions

Does the gas limit always get charged in full?

No. The fee depends on gas actually consumed and the effective gas price at execution. A transaction can also fail and still use gas.

Is this a live Ethereum gas quote?

No. Every numeric input comes from you. Check your wallet or a trusted network source immediately before submitting a transaction.
